Lane End

Located on the edge of Dartmoor, Lane End is an exemplary sustainable home. It is a certified Passivehouse requiring minimal energy to keep warm all year round. The structure uses timber frame, with exposed glulam trusses visible in the vaulted living space. It is insulated using woodfibre board and cellulose insulation made from recycled newspaper to minimise the embodied carbon in its construction. This project was a collaboration with Greenacre Building and was recently featured as the subject in an episode of the Everything Electric Series.
