This compost toilet was uniquely designed and build in collaboration with Temper Studio. It is made from salvaged, local, recycled materials. The frame is a Victorian porch, the stairs and backdrop were off-cuts from Temper Studio's iconic 'choppy waters' plywood, and the screens were weaved from bamboo forgared 10 meters away from toilet. The waste collects into a bin and the urine is piped away in victorian plumbing pipes found onsite. The toilet itself was gold-leafed because, why not?
